How to play Starcraft II Beta offline

Starcraft II

Basically this is a hack which lets you play Starcraft II offline with AI. It’s pretty neat and definitely worth a try if you’re a hardcore fan of the franchise.

I. Download this http://www.demonoid….details/2153737 This link requires a bittorrent client
If you already have Starcraft 2, download this http://www.demonoid….54199/41360922/

II.Unpack Starcraft2_beta_installer.rar and run the installer.

III. Run the game and wait for the update. Once the update is done, close the game AND DO NOT OPEN STAR CRAFT II. ONLY UPDATE ONCE

IV. Unpack lazyLauncher.zip any where you want. Your AV might act up and say it’s a virus but it’s not.

V. Download AI maps here: http://www.nibbits.com/sc2/maps/ (unzip them anywhere)

VI. Download AI Difficulty Files:

Very Easy: http://www.mediafire.com/?hjoalmoyyjt
Easy: http://www.mediafire.com/?mwtn5k5unif
Medium: http://www.mediafire.com/?mz4ymygnngy
Hard: http://www.mediafire.com/?dzdeznohxzi
Very Hard: http://www.mediafire.com/?fdnokjxnndg
Insane: http://www.mediafire.com/?cdorwymlfmj
Original: http://www.mediafire.com/?wzwmo2n22wb

Unpack the selected difficulty.

Copy “Base.SC2Data” to “StarCraft II Beta\Mods\Liberty.SC2Mod” When prompted, overwrite the existing file.

VI. Run LazyLaucher.exe and choose a map(go to where you extracted those AI map packs).

We’ve tested this and everything works fine. If you can’t get it to work, then there’s a 99.5% chance that it’s your fault. Keep in mind that this is offline SINGLEPLAYER play only. Though it’s pretty obvious, I just wanted to state that to avoid unnecessary questions like “How do I play LAN with a friend?”

You CAN certainly wait until the official release but…. if you’re a douche like us, why wait?
