Civilization V Debut Trailer out!
Posted by: | CommentsWe all know that there are a lot of great games coming out this year, but we really cannot ignore Civilization V. In fact, I really can’t think of another franchise which had ruined lives as much as the Civ series. There’s even a dedicated website to help people break away from their Civ addictions. But with the release of this trailer, mehhh.
Anyway, here’s the epic trailer.
So be sure to catch Civilization V when it’s released Q4 of 2010.

How to play Starcraft II Beta offline
Posted by: | CommentsBasically this is a hack which lets you play Starcraft II offline with AI. It’s pretty neat and definitely worth a try if you’re a hardcore fan of the franchise.
I. Download this http://www.demonoid….details/2153737 This link requires a bittorrent client
If you already have Starcraft 2, download this http://www.demonoid….54199/41360922/II.Unpack Starcraft2_beta_installer.rar and run the installer.
III. Run the game and wait for the update. Once the update is done, close the game AND DO NOT OPEN STAR CRAFT II. ONLY UPDATE ONCE
IV. Unpack lazyLauncher.zip any where you want. Your AV might act up and say it’s a virus but it’s not.
V. Download AI maps here: http://www.nibbits.com/sc2/maps/ (unzip them anywhere)
VI. Download AI Difficulty Files:
Very Easy: http://www.mediafire.com/?hjoalmoyyjt
Easy: http://www.mediafire.com/?mwtn5k5unif
Medium: http://www.mediafire.com/?mz4ymygnngy
Hard: http://www.mediafire.com/?dzdeznohxzi
Very Hard: http://www.mediafire.com/?fdnokjxnndg
Insane: http://www.mediafire.com/?cdorwymlfmj
Original: http://www.mediafire.com/?wzwmo2n22wbUnpack the selected difficulty.
Copy “Base.SC2Data” to “StarCraft II Beta\Mods\Liberty.SC2Mod” When prompted, overwrite the existing file.
VI. Run LazyLaucher.exe and choose a map(go to where you extracted those AI map packs).
We’ve tested this and everything works fine. If you can’t get it to work, then there’s a 99.5% chance that it’s your fault. Keep in mind that this is offline SINGLEPLAYER play only. Though it’s pretty obvious, I just wanted to state that to avoid unnecessary questions like “How do I play LAN with a friend?”
You CAN certainly wait until the official release but…. if you’re a douche like us, why wait?
Dragon Age Expansion by March
Posted by: | Comments“For centuries, the Grey Wardens—the ancient order of guardians, sworn to unite and defend the lands—have been battling the darkspawn forces. Legend spoke that slaying the Archdemon would have put an end to the darkspawn threat for centuries to come, but somehow they remain.
You are the Grey Warden Commander and have been entrusted with the duty of rebuilding the order of Grey Wardens and uncovering the secrets of the darkspawn and how they managed to remain.
How you choose to rebuild your order, how you resolve the conflict with “The Architect”, and how you determine the fate of the darkspawn will be but some of the many complex choices that await and shape your journey as you venture to the new land of Amaranthine.”
Just over four months after Dragon Age’s debut, the game will also be getting its first full-fledged expansion, Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening. Available on March 16 worldwide for the PC, 360, and PS3, the major add-on will feature an all-new storyline that focuses on the rebuilding of the Grey Wardens after the bloody events of the original game’s campaign. It will allow players to import their Dragon Age characters or start over as an all-new new Grey Warden from the empire of Orlais. It will also delve deeper into the backstory of the Darkspawn and their ongoing objectives.
